The Fellows of Carnegie Museum of Art

JOIN OR RENEW YOUR SUPPORT

The Fellows was established in 1968 by Carnegie Museum of Art Board member James L. Winokur, who with other Board members and friends, was eager to help the museum find sources for acquiring major works of art for its collection. Under the leadership of James A. Fisher and Robert M. Frankel from 1970 to 2000, Harry A. Thompson II from 2000 to 2010, Alice R. Snyder and Bruce M. Wolf from 2011 to 2017, Deborah G. Dick and Susan J. McGuinn from 2018 to 2022, and now Lynn Desmone and Susan J. McGuinn, the group has grown to include more than 150 members.

Support from the Fellows is a crucial part of Carnegie Museum of Art’s exhibition program and allows us to continue to create experiences for our thousands of annual visitors, whether they are in our galleries, online, or in the community.
