Donor Event: A Deep Dive into H2Oh!
The STEM Catalysts invite you to take a deep dive into H2Oh!
Join Manager of Animals and Habitats Carla Littleton and Director of Exhibts Dennis Bateman in a virtual tour behind-the-scenes of Carnegie Science Center's fresh-water science gallery, H2Oh!
Dennis will explain the history of live animals and water themes at the science center, the impetus for the H2Oh! gallery, and share some of the early design sketches and concepts that eventually became the experience you enjoy today.
Carla will then take you into the Field Station area, introduce you to some of her favorite residents, and explain the care the animals we are responsible for receive each day. She'll share some favorite stories and encounters with guests, and discuss the mission our Animal Care staff embody and model for guests.
The STEM Catalysts are Carnegie Science Center’s first ever giving society. This growing group is designed to bring together donors who have an interest in supporting educational programming at the museum, while also providing opportunities for recognition, behind-the-scenes access, and special benefits.
