Behind Closed Doors: Prep Lab 10am
Date:
Saturday, March 23, 2019
Time:
10:00 AM - 10:20 AM
Location:
Carnegie Museum of Natural History
Rarely seen by non-Vertebrate Paleontology staff, the Prep Lab is where molds and casts are made or very large blocks of fossils are prepared. Hear about the department’s work on animals from before the Age of Dinosaurs and see some spectacularly old fossils hailing all the way from Germany and Utah. These tours will be popular and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
