Natural History Open House
From dinosaur fossils to gemstones and mummies, Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s collection is as diverse as it is extraordinary. Meet the amazing scientists and researchers who study these objects as you go behind-the-scenes of the Museum of Natural History and discover the incredible science happening at the museum every day.
You'll meet museum experts in paleontology, conservation, botany, and more—so bring your questions! Enjoy activity stations throughout the galleries, and take an exclusive tour in places rarely accessible to the public, including Paleolab, the mollusk department, and the Big Bone Room. These tours will be popular and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign ups for each tour will be at the check in table for the event.
