“Undaunted: The Forgotten Giants of the Allegheny Observatory” is a tribute to Samuel Langley, the first director of the observatory, and John Brashear, who began making telescopes in a backyard shed with no more than a sixth-grade education.

Join film director Dr. Handley, a geneticist with degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, for a special movie screening and a Q&A session.
