Join us for a night of intrigue and excitement at an after-hours museum murder mystery soirée—The Case of the Power of Poison.
There is a poisoner afoot in the museum, and guests are invited to search the galleries for clues, interview suspects, and enjoy an open bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres at a special poison-themed event. Our night of mystery is planned in tandem with our summer blockbuster The Power of Poison, a highly interactive exhibition that explores poisonous peptides and pernicious poisoners in nature and in literature.
Guests are welcome to dress in Victorian era costumes or regular attire.
Tickets to a VIP reception that will honor Dr. Richard Moriarty are also available for $350 per person. Dr. Moriarty is a museum board member, president of the Carnegie Discoverers, founder of the Pittsburgh Poison Center and the National Poison Center Network, and is nationally known for the development of the Mr. Yuk poison warning symbol. A portion of the VIP ticket price is a tax-deductible donation.
