Carnegie Trees Opening Celebration 2017
The Women’s Committee of the Carnegie Museum of Art invites you to the 56th annual Carnegie Trees Opening Celebration: Beloved Children's Book Characters.
Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in CMOA’s magnificent Hall of Architecture, surrounded by five soaring evergreens decorated to celebrate the characters from favorite books: The Cat in the Hat, The Jungle Book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Wizard of Oz, and Alice in Wonderland.
A portion of Host Committee Sponsor and Patron ticket prices will be donated to Carnegie Warm Welcome, a new children's program created by the Women's Committee that welcomes 725 boys and girls in grades 1-6 with free admission for them and their families to Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History for a day of fun exploration, and gives them a "warm welcome" gift of hats, socks, and gloves.
Attire: Festive
Complimentary valet parking will be available at the Carriage Drive entrance, located off Forbes Avenue.
